Best Backyard Bonanza Chainsaws

Making Raised and Wicking Garden Beds

Add to calendar:
Are you in need of a good garden trim or wanting to collect free firewood to keep your heating bills down this Winter?

Then this is the workshop for you!

Ceilidh Meo from the Long Road Olive Co-op is an experienced chainsaw workshop facilitator who has worked with many local Councils to deliver this workshop as part of the Flood Recovery Funding programs, as well as for various neighbourhood houses and private groups over the last ten years.

Attendance at this event is subsidised for Mount Alexander Shire Council residents through the Local Business Impact grant, so make sure you choose the cheaper ticket price (confirmed against your delivery address).

Please make sure you're wearing appropriate clothes on the day, including long sleeves and pants with closed toe shoes.

Participants are requested to BYO hat, drink bottle and lunch, but snacks and equipment will be provided. However, we encourage you to get acquainted with the equipment that you have available for this workshop, so if you prefer to use your own chainsaw and Personal Protective Equipment, feel free to bring them along too.

PLEASE NOTE: If you're bringing your own chainsaw, it must have been professionally serviced within the last six months directly prior to the date of the workshop. This will ensure all safety features are operational on the day.

Registrations are limited to 12 attendees to ensure everyone has a chance to ask questions as we work. Car pooling is encouraged for environmental considerations, so book with a friend and travel together!
