Want to save yourself and your family money, increase your skin health and get involved with your innate creativity? Soap making might be the skill for you!
Join Ceilidh Meo from the Long Road Olive Co-op at Heathcote Community House for a three hour workshop on hot process soap making. This course is suitable for ages 12+ (with supervision), and no previous soap making experience is necessary. All recipes, materials and tools will be provided.
For safety reasons:
Please ensure that you wear long sleeves, long pants and closed toe shoes to the workshop.
You will also need to ensure that long hair is tied back.
We will be working with lye, which can cause chemical burns if you're not careful.
Any participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a responsible guardian aged over 18.
Tickets are $60pp, with places limited to eight attendees, and everyone will go home with a year's supply of soap (12 bars).
